Thank you to all the volunteers who came! We learned about the military, a phlabotomist, a paramedic, dancers, an artist, a custodian, a police officer, and a dump truck driver.

Fire Prevention Week
The firefighters came and visited us. We got to see the truck and they taught us about safety. Do you have a plan if your house catches fire? Are your smoke alarms up and working?
Making Friends
One of the hardest but must rewarding things to teach kindergartners is how to be friends with others. Conflict resolution is a constant thing give year olds must practice. Today on the playground I got to watch Hunter spend his recess time pushing his friends on the swing. Lorelei had spent kids of time working with our social education students at recess and others love taking care of each other when someone gets hurt. We are making progress at becoming a class family.
